Ahoy, Grand Lake! The Pirate Duck Flotilla sets sail on Friday, July 18

  • Headwaters Cove @ Grand Lake

  • Check in begins at 12 noon

  • Pirate Duck activities start at 1 p.m.

Join the summer’s most splashtastic event and cheer as Grand Lake summer campers and community members launch shoebox-sized cardboard boats in a battle of buoyancy, bravery and rubber ducky pride.

Build a boat or sponsor a jumbo duck!

Families can join us on Open Studio Makerspace nights for FREE to build your duck boats. We’ll bring all the supplies you need to build your own pirate duck boat — you bring the creativity. Makerspace nights happen at the Grand Lake Center July 8-10 and July 15-17 from 6-8 p.m. All ages are welcome!

Creativity encouraged. Sinking optional.
